Time, Creation & Destruction : J'ai pleuré avec les chiens

In J’ai pleuré avec les chiens (I Wept With The Dogs), five female performers slowly hypnotise an audience. At the work’s core are concepts like transformation, femininity, physicality, rhythm and trance. Ashbee seeks to celebrate lightness, physicality and pleasure, freeing herself from all forms of violence. Working with dancers, audience, soundscape and design, she creates a constantly evolving landscape – one with violent lows as well as highs of renewal and delight.
